Budgeted offering to support mission projects of the Florida Baptist Convention and Southern Baptist Convention. As of February 2014 (FY 2013-2014) Immanuel Baptist Church has given $164,721.45 to the Cooperative Program.
This ministry encompasses two emphases. The first priority is the training of volunteer personnel and the readiness of equipment to respond to the aftermath of a natural disaster. Secondly, following a natural disaster, the team strategist coordinates the deployment of volunteers and support equipment to assist individuals and churches by providing emergency feeding, and on-site clean-up and recovery services.
Through the Maguire State Mission Offering, Florida Baptists have an opportunity to be a blessing to those who are followers of the Lord as they seek to win souls and proclaim the gospel message. The Offering provides funding for 24 compassionate ministries designed to fulfill God’s purpose in Florida and the Great Commission among its mission partners. Without funding from this offering, many of these ministries could not be accomplished. Through your gifts to the Maguire State Mission Offering we are displaying a heart of generosity to all people. In 2014 Immanuel Baptist Church raised $5,590.27 for the Maguire State Mission Offering.
God calls us to care for widows and orphans in distress (James 1:27). Every church, regardless of size, can participate in orphan care ministry. Last year, churches throughout Florida helped change the lives of more than 106,000 children and families. However, we know it is not enough. We want to help one more child – who may be afraid, hungry, alone and in need of Jesus. In 2014 Immanuel Baptist Church raised $3,548.00 for the Mother’s Day offering for the Florida Baptist Children’s Home.
